How to Use the Terminal
OptionsTopo isn't just a dashboard; it's a window into the market maker's book. Here's how to interpret the data:
Interactive Greeks Mind Map
Explore the relationships between Delta, Gamma, Vanna, and more in our interactive visual explorer.
1. Algo Flow
This is your primary trend identifier. It filters out retail noise and tracks aggressive institutional
demand.
Green Line Rising: Aggressive Call Buying (Bullish Flow).
Red Line Falling: Aggressive Put Buying (Bearish Flow).
2. Netdrift Heatmap
Netdrift visualizes the "drift" of liquidity. When GEX shifts from negative to positive, dealers switch from selling into strength to buying into strength. Use this to spot reversal points.
3. GEX Profile
The "walls" of the market. High Positive GEX acts as a magnet/dampener (low volatility), while High Negative GEX acts as an accelerant (high volatility).
4. 3D GEX Surfaces
Use GEX NET 3D for split-derived net positioning, GEX SUM 3D for smoothed aggregate structure (SMA), and GEX MOMENTUM 3D for EMA-driven momentum shifts. These views show how gamma evolves across strikes through time with spot overlaid for context.
Trading Strategies
- The Pin: Price tends to gravitate towards large GEX walls near expiration.
- The Squeeze: When Price breaks a major Negative GEX level, dealers are forced to hedge aggressively, fueling the move.
